Factory Exotic Coverage

Factory Exotic Coverage is just like it sounds -- a warranty that covers your automobile similar to when the exotic was purchased brand new. It also features unlimited mileage something that most factory warranties won't give. This is an "exclusionary" policy, which in layman’s terms means a policy where we tell you what isn't covered, and everything else is. As you can imagine, this is the best type of coverage money can buy. From our current coverage policy, here is the wording of what is covered:

Factory Exotic Coverage covers the reasonable cost to remedy any operating mechanical or electrical failure of the vehicle, for the time indicated on the contract application, except as specified as excluded, subject to the provisions, terms and conditions of this contract.
As you can clearly see, coverage of any operating mechanical or electrical failure essentially mimics the factory warranty. Standard exclusions such as fabric convertible tops, brake pads, tires, etc., do apply.

In addition to the Factory Coverage being the best coverage available, you can customize your coverage with coverage up to ten years from the time of purchase, and three deductible choices starting at $100, $250, and $500.

In order to qualify for Factory Exotic, your exotic must be under 6 years old and have under 25,000 miles at the time of purchase.

Basic Exotic Coverage

Exotic Coverage is a fantastic alternative to Factory Exotic Coverage. It is an "inclusionary policy", which means we list all of the components covered. Covered components include items from the engine, transmission, front wheel drive, rear wheel drive, fuel system, electronics, cooling, etc.. We like to say that it covers the "mission critical" components, and then some. It features unlimited mileage just like Factory Exotic Coverage. As expected, you have the same deductible choices of $100, $250 and $500.

In order to qualify for Exotic Coverage your exotic must be:
• Drivable. Any age and mileage is guaranteed coverage.

Excluded Items for Factory Warranty Coverage: Non-mechanical or non-electrical failures; frame or structural separation; clutch and related components; rubber
parts; any repositioning, refitting or realigning; distributor cap/rotor; tires/wheels; air bag/supplemental restraint systems; lenses; battery and cables; all maintenance service and items such as alignments, wheel balances, engine tune-ups, spark/glow plugs, plug wires, brake pads, linings & shoes, filters, lubricants, coolants, hoses; bright metal; any illumination including lights; exhaust system; brake rotor/drums; normal fluid/oil lubricant seepage; shop supplies; body adjustments, buttons, handles, door hinges; cleaning; squeaks and rattles; water leaks; wear and tear items; belts; timing chains; leaking shocks; a/c recharging; failures due to lack of maintenance, lack of fluids/coolant/lubricants; any parts not necessary to the completion of the repair; components that fail due to a non-covered component; breakdowns due to rust/corrosion/overheating; compression loss through gradual failure or rings and valves; and non-factory installed components; brake pads, fabric convertible tops; tires.  See Wear and Tear coverage for additional coverage to fill in the gap between certain non covered items.
